In 1978, another Iowa native was born. Today he is known as The Iowa Gallivant, a culinary crusader who is passionate about travel, food, family, overalls and the American Cornbelt!
In 1999, Jay pursued an 11-year exploratory food sabbatical.
His journey led him to Arizona, Montana, Cape Code, the Florida Keys, the Black Hills, Texas, Central Illinois...then back to Iowa City in 2010!
